A: I gave up on Robin Hood when I saw the WW2 style landing boats. The fact that more posters have Mr Crow using a war hammer instead of a bow doesn't help either.

B: Robin is kind of tricky to put into the Noland universe at this time. I don't think that batman need a hit boy (a pre teen sidekick).
Robin should get picked up at a young age but not thrown at deranged killers until he's in his mid-teens (Noland's batman seems a bit more sane than the All Star one). But I don't believe we'll see a time skip and thus we'll either get a teen robin (see batman forever and tremble) or a 10 year old which should not be able to fight crime for several years.

Sorry for the length

Chris

I don't disagree with the whole robin thing, but personally, I want them to forget the whole thing and just go and make a batman beyond movie. That show was great on so may levels. I had read before TDK that they were planning to make one before the idea got dropped for the reboots instead. They're going to get as much out of this franchise as they can and I would really like to see a Batman Beyond film at some point.

Thanks for the tip about Kingdom of Heaven, and saving me 10 bucks on a movie ticket =). Keep up the great work

As a Brit (apology accepted) I feel I should tell you that Nottingham is pronounced Not-ting-uhm, not Not-ting-ham.

Well that is a shame. Still I doubt it would have told the Robin Hood myth better than "Maid Marian and her Merry Men'. The early 90s BBC children's TV show, that was great!

In regards to Robin, I have just this to ask: Doesn't Gordan have a son in this universe? And didn't he get saved by Batman? It might not be a perfect fit,but you can't just dust it aside without admitting it would at least be an interesting take on the character.

Movie Bob, love your movie reviews. I have a problem/question though: your movie review flash video displays in a box in my browser that is square, so the right side 25% or 33% is cut off, I can't see it. This happens in both Firefox 3.6.3 and IE8. I looked in all my settings, both Flash and browser, and couldn't figure it out. Making the browser window wider doesn't help. Forgive me if I'm doing something stupid here, please help so I can enjoy your reviews in full.

(same anonymous poster as above)
I should note that if I click on the link to go to this same review on escapistmagazine.com, then it displays fine, I see the full width video. The problem just seems to be on the moviebob.blogspot.com site (displays in a square box, cutting off the right hand 33% or so), and every movie review video here has the same issue for me.

Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can offer...

I get the same thing, Anonymous, though I just double click the video to make it full screen.

Three reasons NOT for Robin:

1. Shia LaBeouf.
2. Shia LaBeouf.
3. Shia LaBeouf.

Your a really bad critic. I firmly disagree with all of your reviews, except the twilight one (Got to say you made it funny at least). I know you get a lot of hate mail but I just thought I'd add my vote. Please stop your really horrible at it and it makes you sound like a real douche.

I DISAGREE THEREFORE YOU ARE A BAD CRITIC

No electron blue, you have falsely paraphrased. A correct paraphrase would be "You are a bad critic AND I disagree". Nowhere do I say he is a bad critic BECAUSE I disagree with his views, they are mutually exclusive opinions.

"Take me seriously, even though I don't know how to use your/you're properly, which is one of the most simple things in all of elementary school grammar. My opinion also means more than yours, even though I have nothing to back it up or post any reason that it would be an informed opinion. I also hide behind the cloak of anonymous."

Go back to 4chan.

Another movie that was WAAAYY better in the directors cut was Daredevil.

One little example. After a fight, he pours salts in the isolation bath before he climbs in. It's a tiny little thing, but it reminds you he's just a guy, that he's taking a beating out there, but no one else knows. All they see is the superhero.
