Now this is more like it...

Fresh from the runup to E3 comes this week's SECOND big video on the subject of Mortal Kombat reboots, in this case a "back to formula" 3D-graphics/2D-gameplay entry very likely inspired by the success of "Street Fighter IV."

Contained therein: Magic powers, fantastical realms, transdimensional ninjas who look like transdimensional ninjas doing things you'd expect transdimensional ninjas to do and colors found in locations other than a scrap metal yard. What a novel idea...

Yeah, THAT would all look soooo much better if they were all in jeans and hoodies...

See, the universe has a way of balancing things out. Also, Tag Team Kombat! I just question how many characters they're going to use and whether or not this is going to be the definite title for the game. It's possible that this is going to be a reboot, if the title is any indication. Thoughts, Mr. Chipman?

this would look incredibly stupid being translated into film. something i dont think you understand bob. video games and film are 2 different things, and they need to stay that way.

No you got it all wrong, this would not be incredibly stupid translated to film.

This would look rather clever as a film on the other hand(if handled properly).

you should realise that a movie does not have to be within the limits of reality to be a good movie.

you can make a good movie out of anything and vice versa.

here's Toy Story for example:

You(Anonymous) would consider Toy Story to be(an intentionally bad written version of the adjective:) "ghey". purely for the fact that it is animated and aimed for all ages(yes it is aimed at all ages not just at kids you twat).

smart people(Me for example,) consider Toy Story a film about acceptence of replacement and discovering who you are, and not judging people by they're looks and also that working together will get you out of Sid's house(which is quite a bad place if i can say so myself).

Please take notice that i that i'm not pretending to know what your'e thinking(or am i?). i am purely conceiving you act this way based on your behaviour. twat...

@protoman
what the hell are you talking about? Toy Story is one of my all time favorite movies. cant say that for part 2.
this would be stupid as a movie. it wont look right and wont feel right.
i mean they tried it back in the 90's with MK 1 and 2. they both sucked ass if you dont remember.
why not try a new approach?
i just cant stand people that dont wanna try anything new because it might mess up whats already been destroyed as a franchise. both the movies where horrible (in my opinion) and the games have been on the decline for sometime now.
its a much needed reboot.
it didn't work before, why not try something different. i mean if its as horrible as you all seem to think it will be if it ever gets made, then oh well, the franchise is still dead. haha. its not like this new movie would be dragging a masterpiece through the mud.
and whats with the unnecessary potty mouth. grow up.
