Funny Ladies

Frequent-commenter Sofie Liv has joined the Agony Booth crew for a video series called "Red Suitcase Adventures." I like what I see. Go take a look at a countdown of wacky female cartoon characters.

I did. Pretty good. Hope to see more in the future. Congrats, Sofie. Now, I feel inspired to do the same.

Wauw.

Thank you. I don't know what to say, thank you for the pitch.

yeah, I don't know what more to say, just believe me I am great-full. I am a fan of yours, so this really does mean a lot to me. I think I squeeled a little bit.

Good list, but I think it's a bit of a cheat to lean a bit on the Spielberg cartoons.

Also, if I wasn't aware of FiM before this, this would've made me interested.

Also, nice pick for #1.
Also, I just remembered that Albert Brooks was in Finding Nemo. I'm happy now.

@Aturo

Thanks, yeah I know, but it's where the funny women were to be found.
I did deliberately exclude making and spending a good deal of time looking and looking, I could only come up with 14 funny animated women all together, that's it!
So the message here is the world does lack funny females, and I just went with whom I thought stood the most out and could stand the best on their own.

Thanks :)

Well done Sofie! It's cool to see you're making a name for yourself. Good list too, I think it's a damn shame there aren't more funny female characters out there.

To be honest I'd have probably just cheated and put the entire Friendship is Magic cast in the #1 spot. That show makes me laugh way more than it should. Although I can't really disagree with your #1 pick either (I'm kicking myself for not thinking of her myself as she's a personal favourite of mine too).

Captcha: fackdap ... haha, that's awesome.

Well, if it's any consolation I am fully intending to do a "Five argues for My little pony friendship is magic."

As well, there's things in that show you would think is the norm, but really isn't, and have a lot of unique elements to it you just don't get from other places.
And I first realised as I started to analyse the show a bit more.

It's funny how people tend to forget number one, and I have yet to meet a single person who does not like her.
I don't think you even think about the fact that she's a woman, and that is only good, that's brilliant, that is because she is written and performed perfectly.

Can I say I hope to see more to some of ya people around the booth? We all wish for more traffic.. of cause we do.

And well, for me at least, this year looks pretty darn exciting.

Thanks again every-one! all support means so much to both me and my co-workers!
