Escape to the Movies: "Tim & Eric's Billion Dollar Movie"

There's my Chippy.

"Intermission" follows-up on "Act of Valor"

I'm just going to get this started by saying I kinda like Tim & Eric in small doses. I figured their stuff wouldn't work as well in long form.

Okay, now let all the whiny nitwits start their overly-dramatic pissing and moaning about how they "ruined" adult swim. "They're the most terrible thing ever, they aren't even CARTOONS. I want more Venture Bros and Anime! My opinion is the most important!"

Fantastic. Thanks so much for a great articulation of what makes TIM & ERIC work.

I hate that show. Two art school hacks trying to redefine comedy. I doesn't work. They're not funny, never have been and never will be and they're a big part of why i don't watch Adult Swim anymore.

Re: Intermission

Woah, nellie. You actually said that left-wingers can be just as stupidly close-minded as right wingers ("Country music is Red-State music!")? Well, that was a breath of fresh air, man.

I mean, most of the time, when you talk about politics, when Democrats do or say something stupid, you're like "it's awful, I hate it, BUUUUUUUT..." On the other hand, when Republicans say something grossly bigoted or false it's "just in case you need another proof no one with half a brain still supports Republicans, WATCH THIS."

You know, I'm a libertarian, and I'm not afraid to make fun of my fellow man, or to say it when one of us screws up, or to say that Ron Paul's creationism is beyond retarded. I know it's easier said than done, but being a little more balanced towards your criticisms might help you seem less of an asshole at first glance, especially when it comes to people who have soft spots for the right.

Side note, as a brony, I look forward to Fox News trying to psychoanalyse me. That should be funny.

I have never seen the tv show. Your point about the subtext is very interesting. I should watch it sometime.

Ummm, how do you feel about people using this blog to make a plug for your game overthinker blog? Because, I just want to say....Your most recent game overthinker video is truly touching and beautiful.
